considered one of the most complete sport/art, capoeira is one of saci’s extra activities through the work of capoeira cultural union (ccu). capoeira stimulates the body and develops rhythm, discipline, motor coordination, physical and emotional strength.

Days: tuesdays and thursdays.

Time: 15h15 to 16h (groupings i, ii, iii and iv from morning groups
15h15 to 16h15 (6 th to 9 th grades)
17h to 17h35 (grouping ii and kindergarden)
17h40to 18h40 (1 st to 5 th grades from afternoon groups).

in this extra class, students have contact with a special musical repertoire that, through games and body expressions, will help the development of listening, tactile and visual perceptions, as well as increase creativity, sensitivity, expressiveness, communication, logical reasoning, socialization, concentration, memorization and motor coordination.

divided into three categories, the dance project at saci develops a work with focus on free movements exploration as well as the dance educational potential. Days: mondays and wednesdays

Free dance/jazz: the purpose of this class is to present general aspects os the free dance by using jazz models, searching for a composition of new movements and stimulating the freedom of creation.

Time: 15h10 to 16 (morning groups from 7 years old on)
17h50 to 18h40 (afternoon students from 7 years old on)

Tapping class: the teaching of this art puts the body in motion, while producing rhythms, generating the unique sensation of being actively participating in music. note: only for students who take free dance classes.

Time: 16h to 16h20 (morning groups from 7 years old on)
18h40 to 19h (afternoon students from 7 years old on)

ballet for children: troughout games and exercises, the purpose of this class is to develop motor coordination, rhythm and breathing, motivating body expression and presenting to the child the beginning of classical and creative dance.

Time: 17h to 17h40 (from 2 to 6 years old)

for kids from 4 years old on, socccer class develops the practice of the most popular sport in the world. the exercises related to soccer are very positive during childhood and adolescence because they stimulate motor coordination, balance and concentration, increase the muscular power of the legs, improve the cardiovascular capacity, stimulate the speed of reaction and the peripheral vision and the oxygenation of the blood.

known as quick massage, for being a relaxing and quick massage done in a specific chair, the activity is aimed to students, school staff and families. the focus of massage is on the areas of increased tension, such as neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands, aiming to provide momentary muscle relaxation, stress relief, reduction in headaches and shoulders pain, improvement in the mood, cheer and even prevention of wrod(work-related osteomuscular disease).

formed by students from 6 th to 9 th grades, the focus is the production of saci news, the school's printed newspaper. The group has weekly meetings, when they talk and learn about journalistic textual production, event coverage (photos and videos) and diagramming.

This workshop seeks, through various artistic works, to stimulate the development of creativity, motor coordination and interpersonal relationship of the child.

Formed by volunteer students, saci in action has existed since 2003. Currently, the group seeks to provide the participant, through their practices, the opportunity to reflect their interaction and participation in society. it conducts campaigns and donations of products to social assistance institutions with which it seeks to establish a bond of at least one year, giving continuity to actions in a way that is not merely welfare.
